The Lasik Eye Model is is perfect for patient education. Includes visualizations for hyperopia, myopia, and the cornea flap.

It is made of a hard, durable plastic mounted on a white opaque base, measures 4.5″ L x 5″ W x 3.5″ H. It is colored and textured, and is designed primarily for patient education in LASIK surgery.

Many patients find current explanations about LASIK surgery difficult to follow and may be apprehensive about procedures they don't understand. This unique model of the human eye allows the doctor or technician to quickly and completely familiarize the patient with this procedure.

This model displays a vision line that can be adjusted to have the focal length shift along one meridian. A cornea lens with a movable front layer demonstrates in conjunction with the vision line, how Lasik surgery affects the eye and how it improves the patient's visual acuity. Other features include the layers of the eye including the sclera with musculature, the choroid, the retina, the fovea, the iris, the optic nerve, and realistic vasculature.
